If you leave Germany, you can get your pension money back. To claim a refund before reaching the age of retirement you must be a Non-EU citizen, living in a
non-EU country, and at least two years must have passed since your last contribution payment.
If you are a citizen of the United States, Australia, India, Canada, Albania, Moldova, South Korea, and The Philippines the other requirement is that your German
pension balance holds less than 5 years of contribution.
